Ariel Winter had a little wardrobe malfunction during a photo shoot for Rogue Magazine.

Fortunately she had help from a trusty assistant to loosen things up when she couldn't move where she wanted in her too-tight bathing suit.

Ariel, 18, may have been alluding to Elle Woods' famous 'bend and snap' move in Legally Blonde when she posted a revealing snapshot to Instagram on Sunday.

The photo showed Ariel standing awkwardly in a black one-piece as the male assistant fixed the troublesome garment in a snap, one would hope.

Ariel shared the same photo on Twitter, captioning it with a simple: 'Today's shoot with #roguemagazine.'

Ariel looked every inch the glamour girl in a second picture shared on her social media account.

The teenage star was seen seated on a chair and looking over her bare shoulder at the camera, her dark hair piled on top of her head.

Ariel's tattoo of a tiger was staring back from between her shoulder blades.

Meanwhile, Ariel wasn't hiding a lot as she stepped out for a salon visit in Los Angeles on Friday.

The brunette star was wearing a tight grey T-shirt - and no apparent brassiere - along with grey camouflage trousers.

On Thursday, Ariel wore another skimpy outfit, this time extremely cut-off denim shorts and a graphic print T-shirt while out to lunch in Los Angeles' Studio City.

Last week, Ariel went glamorous in all white for a photo shoot with her Modern Family co-stars to commemorate season eight.

Modern Family, which premiered in September 2009 and has won several Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award, also stars Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland, Nolan Gould and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.
