Marriage 101 according to Ruggedman

– Ruggedman has shared his thoughts concerning marriage
 – The veteran rapper who recently made up and released a song with his colleague 9ice spoke on the pressure to get married
 – He also spoke on why parents shouldn’t force their kids into marriage

Speaking in a recent interview with The Sun newspaper, veteran rapper Ruggedman 

commented on why marriage is not a fashion statement. He said:  “Marriage will happen 

when it will happen. Marriage is not a fashion statement that everybody wants to join the 

trend.” The rapper, who first came into the limelight with his hit Ehen, also said people

 shouldn’t get married because others are or because they are being pressured into it.

“You get married when you are very ready to get married,” he said He also shared his views 

on what causes domestic violence among young couples. He said: “I keep saying parents 

should not force their children to get married because it’s part of what causes domestic 

violence in homes of nowadays”. Ruggedman and his former rival, singer 9ice, recently 

reconciled after a 6-year feud.
